The Quran is a “string stretched” between men and Allah. It is the bond that unites the Creator and the living beings of the earth. Allah the Most High revealed the Holy Quran to guide humanity, fill the hearts of men with virtue, send a reminder to the believers, serve as a remedy for diseases of the heart, be a light and a blessing for those who sincerely attached to it. The Quran is therefore essential for the life of the believer. It gives life to the heart and nourishes the soul, and there is no true life without the Book of Allah.

Each of us must realize that our earthly salvation and eternal life depend on our attachment to the Book of Allah, our knowledge of its verses and the putting into practice of its teachings.

The very interesting book by Sheikh Abd al-Razzaq al-Badr, may Allah honor him, highlights the importance of the Quran. The only real bond he must seek to weave is with Allah, who has already stretched His “rope”. Will he be able to grasp it?
