Most Muslim nations have been engaged in a process of westernization since the period of colonization, a trend that continued even after they gained independence. Westernization involves a forced imposition of Western ideas, values ​​and worldview that permeate all imported aspects of life: from institutions to technology, human and natural sciences, culture and entertainment.
