In a very distant time in Mesopotamia, and more particularly in the city of Babylon, men were renowned for being experts in astrology. One day, wise men came to King Nimrod and predicted the birth of a child who would preach a new religion. Hearing this, the king then immediately ordered all the little boys born that year to be executed. When Ibrahim's father learned of this decision, he decided to move his wife away from the city while she was pregnant with Ibrahim.

When Ibrahim was born, he returned to the city in the company of his mother. His father known as Azer was a renowned sculptor who made idols out of stone and wood. At that time, people worshiped statues, planets, stars, sun, moon and many other deities.

Child, Ibrahim often watched his father make the statues. One day he asked him what he was doing. His father replied that he made statues of gods. He was surprised by his father's response and immediately rejected the idea.
