To judge a word or an act as being disbelief is to state the general legal judgment, but to affirm that a specific person who has pronounced or practiced an impiety which excludes from religion, (for example denying a fundamental point of religion, insulting Allah or insulting Islam), is indeed a disbeliever, it is necessary to be fully informed of this person's position on these points, by seeking to know if all the conditions required for takfir are met or not, and if all the obstacles possible to such a sentence are really absent. If therefore all the conditions necessary to qualify her as a disbeliever are verified at home and there is no legal obstacle to this procedure, then she is deemed a disbeliever. On the other hand, if at least one of the required conditions is missing or if there is even a hindrance, it cannot be called a disbeliever.
