Many people ignore the rules regarding distraction prostrations in prayer.

Some neglect them when they are mandatory. Others bow down when they shouldn't.
Others still make these prostrations before the salutation when they must be done afterwards and others, finally, prostrate after when they must be accomplished before.

Thus, knowledge of these rules is very important, especially for the imams that people take as an example. So I wanted to present to my brothers some rules regarding this chapter, hoping that Allah will grant me His help, inspire me [to take] the path of truth and make His worshiping believers benefit [from this book].
