How to heal your heart?

The author, Ibn Qudamah said:

"Know that the noblest part of a person is his heart. He who knows Allah, works for Him, fights for Him, draws near to Him and discovers what is with Him, his limbs only follow his heart who uses them as kings use their slaves. So he who knows his heart will know his Lord.

Most people are ignorant of their own hearts and souls.

Allah can come between a person and their heart. This manifests itself in her being prevented from knowing Him and being conscious of Him.

Knowing the heart and its characteristics therefore constitutes the foundation of religion and the basis of the path of those who journey towards Allah.

Know that the natural state of the heart accepts guidance. However, due to the desires and passions that can be found within it, it can deviate.

A constant battle therefore occurs between the armies of angels and the forces of demons until the heart opens to one of the two camps settling there.
