Islamic education is an education that aims to be general and complete, in accordance with the concern for universality and exhaustiveness of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ) which are its sources. These characteristics are also implied by the scale of its ambition. Islamic education sets itself the goal of training and guiding human beings in all areas of education (religious, physical, moral, social, intellectual) from birth to death.
Islamic education is an imperative necessity in the formation of the good Muslim. If the individual is honest, so is the family, and hence society and the entire Islamic community will be honest, and this is the eminent goal of Islamic education.
Educators, whatever their. tendencies, their societies, their eras and their countries, seek to form men of integrity according to the methods and principles specific to their beliefs or opinions. As for us Muslims to educate the youth, we must use the Islamic methods that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to educate his companions.
