It has become very difficult for people to find their way around and to understand the authentic belief (dogma) , because they have fallen under the influence of those who speak on this subject without mastering it, and without bothering to return to the works of the scholars of the people of the Sunnah and the consensus. Indeed, the latter have extensively extended on this subject, giving it extreme importance and leaving no opportunity for anyone who would like to add anything.

Thus, it is obligatory for anyone who speaks on the subject of belief to return to the works already written on this subject by authors whose integrity and immense science are highly recognized. To this end, I asked Allah - may He be Exalted -, through the prayer of consultation, to enlighten me as to the preparation of this modest epistle. I have had recourse for this to the works of a certain number of scholars among those who have written on the subject of the belief of the pious predecessors whose works have been approved by the ancient scholars of the Muslims as well as by contemporaries.
