Love here below is both a vice and a suffering.

A vice that opens the door to all excesses, to carelessness and to forgetting what really matters here below and in the hereafter, and a suffering because this love - too often excessive - disturbs the order of priorities of the one who is in love with it.

Life in this world is limited and punctuated by what we all know: death. Blessed then are those who make this lower world a field of tillage where they sow good works whose fruits they will reap in the hereafter.
