This book is the translation of the Arabic book "Futûh Al-Ghayb".

The religious sciences of Islam, in their diversity, respond to the needs of the believer and the community. They originated in the Quran and the Sunnah. They evolved and were structured during the first centuries of the Hegira.

In this book, it is about the purification of the hearts of Tassawwuf (Sufism). This discipline is an integral part of Islamic sciences. If fiqh teaches us to perform ablutions and prayer, tajwid teaches us to read the Koran correctly, grammar teaches us to recognize the subject of the verb... tassawwuf, on the other hand, teaches us to educate our souls (nafs) and to purify our hearts (qalb) about which God says: "The day when neither goods nor descendants will be of the slightest use, except that which will arise before God with a pure heart" (Qur'an, 26, 88-89).

The Prophet said: "God does not look at your forms but only looks at your hearts". This discipline has its methods (or techniques), its men of reference like Sheikh Abdelkader Al-Jilânî, who was one of its biggest names in the line of Al-Hassan Al-Basri, Abu Talib Al-Makki, Al-Muhâssibî, Al-Junayd, Imam Al-Ghazâlî...

The spiritual teachings of Sheikh Abdelkader have remained relevant, still relevant because the remedies that healed the souls and purified the hearts of Muslims of yesterday: the companions, the Tâbi'în and generally the Salaf as-Salih; are able to heal the souls and hearts of people today.
