This book is a tribute to my beloved daughter. Through my testimony on grief and what results from it, I hope that other bereaved people can recognize themselves, but above all maintain hope and demonstrate resilience in the face of an ordeal as heavy as the loss of a child.

Losing my child was the most painful ordeal I have ever gone through. Life suddenly turned upside down, leaving an immense void and indescribable pain in my heart. Today, I am here to share with you my story, my experience, my sorrows and my hopes. Through this book, I wish to pay tribute to my wonderful daughter who left at the age of 7, but also to leave a legacy to my three other wonders.

I know that other mothers are facing the same ordeal and I would deeply like to support them, help them feel understood and less alone in the face of grief. So, I am speaking to you, mothers of Muslim faith, bereaved or not, to young married women who are interested in the education of children, and then to all those who have lost a loved one.

In these pages, I do not claim to have the answers to heal from this trauma, because everyone experiences their grief in their own way and according to their own circumstances. Each relationship with the departed being is unique. Therefore, it is about what I went through, the difficulties I encountered, the obstacles I overcame, and the keys that helped me move forward in an ordeal as difficult as the loss of my life.
