Allah has cited obedience to the Messenger and the recommendation to follow him about forty times in the Quran, such as:
Allah (Exalted be He) said: للَّهِ } [النساء: 64]
The meaning of the verse: (We sent a Messenger only to be obeyed by Allah's permission) [Surat An-Nisa': 64].
The scattering of acts of sunnah, people's ignorance and neglect to put them into practice are the prelude to the appearance of innovations and their spread, as Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Not a year passes that people do not introduce an innovation and cause an act of sunnah to die, until the innovations are quickened and the acts of sunnah disappear."
In this book, small in volume but large in importance, have been compiled, with the help of some noble brothers, certain traditions of the Messenger which seemed to us to be misunderstood, neglected or practiced less and less. Our sole objective was the dissemination of the sunnah of our beloved prophet, of his teachings among Muslims, in accordance with his order: "He who establishes a good tradition in Islam obtains his reward and the reward of all those who will implement it after him." [Reported by Muslim].
All good is to follow His guidance and walk His way. May Allah make us among the adherents who cling firmly to his sunnah, and may He forgive us and our parents. And may Allah pray on our Prophet Muhammad, on his family and on his Companions.
