Known as it was in the Middle East and in Asia in ancient times, it was used to brush and clean the teeth due to its high content of antiseptic agents and soothing gums. The best Siwak is the one made from the arak tree (Salvadora Pérsica) from which our toothpaste was made.

Among these components we found about 19 substances which have beneficial virtues for dental health such as natural antiseptics, tannic acid, aromatic essential oil which increases salivation, trimethylamine, the alkaloid Salvadorine, vitamin C, mineral salts such as chloride and fluoride; minerals: sulfur, phosphorus, calcium and especially silicon; varying amounts of saponins, flavonoids and steroids.
