What is Islam? It is essential.

It is a universal wisdom that was not born with the last prophet Muhammad, but with the first human beings: Adam and Eve. It is not even born with human beings: it is innate, natural to the entire universe which acts perfectly according to the will of God inscribed in it, in the form of universal laws. Prophets are not “great men” who invent new ideas: they are men sent by God, whose mission is to teach human beings the essentials of what they need to know in order to know well. guide one's personal and collective life: knowledge of reality and wisdom. Their teaching was more or less brief and limited, depending on the constraints of the context. Islam, with the last prophet and the last revelation, offers an overview, a global synthesis of the essential.
