Evocation chases away the Devil and subjugates him, it humiliates and degrades him, and it satisfies the Most Merciful. It arouses love for Allah, rapprochement with Him, feeling that He is observing us, permanent fear of Him, repentance and return to Allah and helps to perform acts of obedience.

It dispels anxiety and sadness from the heart, brings joy and pleasure, and arouses life, vigor and purity in the heart. The heart always feels a lack and a need that nothing can fill except the evocation of Allah. In the heart, there is a harshness that only the evocation of Allah can dissipate.
